Upcoming Meetings

There will be a special meeting of the Marion Public Library Board to review and discuss the reopening policy on on June 1st at 5:00 p.m in the conference room and also via Zoom.  You may call prior to the meeting (4:30 p.m.) to receive information on accessing the meeting via Zoom or you may attend in person.


There will be a regular meeting of the Marion Public Library Board on June 11th at 5:00 p.m. in the conference room or via Zoom.


Attendees will be permitted to be seated in the lobby, six feet apart and masks will be required.

CLOSING

DUE TO COVID 19 PANDEMIC

THE MARION PUBLIC LIBRARY WILL CONTINUE TO BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

REOPENING WILL COMMENCE CONTINGENT UPON EXECUTIVE ORDERS FOR THE SAFE OPENING OF PUBLIC LIBRARIES.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU UPDATED.

CLICK ON DIGITAL RESOURCES FOR A LIST OF AUDIO BOOKS, MAGAZINES, AND LANGUAGE LESSONS AVAILABLE TO BE CHECKED OUT AND HOW THIS CAN BE DONE.

All Library materials that are due may be placed in the book drop in the front of the building.

Overdues will not be charged for the time period that we have been closed.

​MeLCat Statewide Catalog is the centralized union catalog and resource sharing service created to share materials among all types of libraries in Michigan, regardless of the local circulation system they use. MeLCat contains up-to-date holdings from all participating libraries. While the ability to search MeLCat is open to everyone, only eligible patrons from participating libraries may request materials to be delivered to their home libraries.
